Urgent Notice: Beware of a Recent Scam Impersonating Ariodante Travel

A criminal group is currently impersonating Ariodante Travel, using fake job offers and a fraudulent website to lure people into becoming “travel advisors” for Ariodante. This scheme aims to trick job seekers into paying to write reviews and promote fake travel packages. We believe it may be a Ponzi scheme that has already affected dozens of people. Please be aware that this is a scam exploiting our brand's reputation to defraud individuals.

Recently, we uncovered a deceptive scam where criminals are impersonating Ariodante Travel to defraud individuals. They are using our brand, logo, and elements of our official website to lure job seekers into signing up for a fictitious "travel advisor" position.

These scammers entice victims with fake job posts and then persuade them to deposit money into a “cryptocurrency balance” to write positive reviews for non-existent travel packages. The more reviews they write, the more they are promised to earn, but in reality, this scheme is designed to drain their funds.

Upon discovering this fraud, we took immediate action. We reported the fake website and associated profiles to the relevant platforms and are working with hosting providers to shut them down. We have also alerted law enforcement in the UK, US, and Switzerland and will pursue legal action against anyone involved in this scam.

How this Scam Appears to Work

The scammers use Facebook and other social media platforms to run ads, luring people into their scheme. They then use a fake website to onboard recruits and WhatsApp groups to create a sense of community. In these groups, some members pose as successful employees who claim to have earned thousands in cryptocurrencies.

Once on the fake website, these "mentors" guide recruits through the process, convincing them to deposit money to write more reviews and earn more.

To protect yourself, watch out for these red flags:

  • Ariodante NEVER Advertises Jobs on Social Media or Engages in any Marketing. Any claims that we are recruiting or seeking people for marketing activities are false. When we have openings, we recruit within our network and occasionally post detailed job descriptions on our official channels only.

  • Beware of Unsolicited Job Offers: Especially those promising high salaries for minimal effort. Ariodante Travel, like any reputable business, does not recruit in this manner.

  • Verify Website Authenticity: Always ensure that the website you are interacting with is legitimate. Our official site is https://www.ariodantetravel.com.

  • Our Official Social Media Channels: Ariodante Travel has official accounts on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X. Our CEO also shares travel secrets, tips, and behind-the-scenes content from our travel creations on his official Instagram account. Ensure you’re following the correct accounts to stay informed and avoid any fraudulent activity. If you have any doubt, please contact us through any of these official channels.

  • Question Financial Requests: If a job requires you to pay money or create a balance to earn rewards, it is almost certainly a scam.

If you encounter any suspicious job postings or communications involving Ariodante Travel, please report them immediately to us and to the relevant authorities.
